Analyze a Structural Issue (Structural Engineer) in 33431
Paul King provided the signed and sealed engineering I needed for my building permit, but I thought his fee was a bit high for the amount of work he performed. He took the drawings I had provided to the city, added a couple of notes and put his title block on the drawings. I thought that $500.00 for this amount of work was high.

The final result was good - a thorough report. The path to it was rocky. The engineers sent to do the inspection looked like they have never done it before and were not able to answer some of the basic questions. They clearly were afraid of not getting paid for their work and asked for payment on the spot. I told them I would be happy to pay once I receive the product - the report. Over the next several days I had to go through a negotiation with the company - they refused to provide the report until I paid. I have never seen this before with any such services. I finally gave up and paid for the report.
